Changing culture is not an individual action or group of actions. It starts with a clear vision and strategy, clearly communicated and then supported by a variety of planned interventions. The challenge in changing culture is that we are dealing with things people do ‘unconsciously’, so first we need to recognise and acknowledge the behaviours before we can change them.
